SuperDinky supporting premature mothers superbly

Lorna Tallowin is doing a brilliant job with SuperDinky. After travelling to hospital in a removal van, such was the surprise at her early pregnancy, she’s used her pain to help others.

Currently she organises support for some of the 1 in 13 babies born prematurely in the UK.

And the support SuperDinky gives is a lot:

• Peer support through a WhatsApp channel,

• Cotton vests tailored for preemie (another name for premature) babies and the wires attached,

• Care packages for the mothers,

• Private treatment for those that need it.

They’re on a real mission to help as many families as possible.

The care packages are called Parcels of Hope. Essentially it’s a pay it forward gift for mothers of preemie babies. Each parcel comes with a handwritten note from the gifter. Though, perhaps the most important thing in the package is the organic cotton clothing so that this fresh bundle of life can wear comfy, beautiful clothing. Not just the plain hospital gear.

Now Lorna has recently received a no-strings-attached $500 grant from Drop Dead Generous, validating her idea further, and I'm excited to follow the journey even more.
