Founding partners
Help Gilbert grow.
I'm Glenn, the person behind Good News Gilbert. I'm building a free UK news product for people who want to stay informed without feeling hopeless.
That means looking at serious problems and what people are doing about them, with evidence of what's helping and where the limits are. I'd love to find ten founding partners to help give it a proper start.

Why I started Gilbert
I was teaching English in Turkey when I wrote down the idea for Gilbert. I wanted to do something about a feed full of problems and not enough of what people are doing about them.
Here's the video about how it began.

The founding-partner offer
We're early and the audience is still developing. This is a chance to support the work as it grows, not a promise of advertising reach or sales.
Monthly
£100 / month
An initial three-month commitment, paid monthly. £300 in total for the initial period.
Annual
£1,000 / year
Paid upfront for 12 months. The same founding-partner offer, at a lower annual cost.
The founding offer is limited to ten partner places. We'll confirm availability and the details together before you commit.
What you'll receive
- Clear recognition on Gilbert's partner page and selected website and newsletter surfaces.
- A launch thank-you across Gilbert's own channels.
- A short monthly note about what's been published, what we're learning and the audience evidence we actually have.
- Optional access to Good News Gilbert for Slack for your team.
- A 30-minute end-of-pilot review and first option to renew.
Support the work. The reporting stays independent.
Partners can't choose stories, approve coverage or buy favourable reporting. Gilbert keeps complete editorial judgement. Paid support will be clearly labelled, and we won't share readers' personal details with partners.
We'll look for a genuine fit with organisations that care about people's wellbeing or constructive social progress. If it isn't the right fit, we'll say so.
