Loganair cabin crew secure a two-year pay deal without a strike
Loganair cabin crew represented by Unite have accepted a two-year pay agreement, ending the immediate threat of industrial action. The deal gives an 8% rise backdated to 1 April 2026, followed by another 8% from 1 April 2027, with additional commitments on scheduling and staff wellbeing.
More than 60 union members across seven airport bases had been involved in a strike ballot after rejecting an earlier offer. Unite said members delivered an overwhelming mandate for action, but talks continued and the improved package went back to workers. Both the union and airline now describe the accepted deal as a positive outcome.
Published reports do not give the final vote totals or detailed wording of the scheduling and wellbeing commitments. Future inflation will also shape what the rises mean in practice, and the agreement covers the cabin crew represented in this dispute rather than every Loganair employee. Still, determined organising and continued negotiation produced better pay and working commitments without passengers losing services to a strike.
