Today Andy Burnham came is as Prime Minister

Whilst he seemed quite nervous in the interview today, Gilbert believes he’s gonna do great.

He did so many sweet things in Greater Manchester. Bringing down rough sleeping by as much as 67% at one point, taking the local bus network back into public control through franchising, and more than doubling the amount of new homes built.

They even nickname him the ‘King of the North’ up there. So reputationally and charismatically he has it too. Something that could help him make allies on the international stage.

Sounds like he’s gonna do more of the same as Prime Minister. He’s thinking long term with a 10 year plan, and has committed to more council homes and an end to rough sleeping. Personally, I believe he can do it.

A smart guy, having gone to University of Cambridge, and with lots of life experience at 56, let’s see what positivity the ex Mayor of Manchester can bring. Gilbert wishes the best of luck!
